I’ve been following the investigation into Kenneth Blackstone’s murder and I can’t help but think about the impact on his community. It’s not just a statistic—every one of these tragedies echoes through families and neighborhoods. In another life, Kenneth could have been a mentor to the younger folks around him; maybe he was already. It’s devastating to see potential and lives cut short like this, especially when we continue to see so many similar stories in Baltimore.
What really gets me is the ongoing fear and grief that ripple through the community after something so senseless. It’s hard to feel safe or to trust that things might get better. I hope people with any information come forward, not only for justice for Kenneth and his family but for the peace and safety of the entire neighborhood. Anyone else from Baltimore who can speak to how these events affect daily life there?
I came across a detail in Kenneth Blackstone's case that got me pondering about the use of technology in these investigations—specifically, how the ShotSpotter system has been implemented in Baltimore. It's the very system that alerted the police to the tragic scene that night.
The ShotSpotter seems like a powerful tool in theory, but I'm curious about its effectiveness in practice, especially in cases like Kenneth's where the shooter remains unidentified. Does anyone here know more about how well this technology actually aids investigations or leads to apprehensions? It feels like having tech like that should be a huge advantage, but without public cooperation or witnesses stepping up, I'm worried it might not be enough.
My heart goes out to Kenneth’s loved ones. With the number of unsolved cases piling up, I'm hoping this tech can provide a crucial breakthrough or at least help in future cases. Anyone else have thoughts or insights on this?
Has anyone else been following the Kenneth Steven Blackstone case? I can't imagine what his family and friends are going through. It's really troubling how many unsolved cases there are in Baltimore, and his makes me wonder about the effectiveness of ShotSpotter. It alerted the police, but was it quick enough? Did it direct them accurately to the scene? I remember reading somewhere that these systems are supposed to help reduce response times and aid in investigation, but it seems like there are still gaps.
I really hope the community steps up with any information they have. Seeing cases linger like this is just devastating. My heart goes out to Kenneth's family. Stay strong, and let's hope for justice soon.

I am the grandmother of Kenneth’s daughter. This case is still unsolved. Kenneth girlfriend my daughter passed away June 22 2023 in a car accident. His daughter is left with no parents and no justice for Kenneth . My daughter gave police a persons name that was with Kenneth that night and nothing has been done to prove that this gentleman was involved.
