I just find it so alarming how social media can paint such a different picture from reality. Kristy Helmert and George Kuhn seemed like any other happy couple online, but the truth was something else entirely. It's heartbreaking to think that Kristy might have felt trapped or unable to reach out for help sooner. I think we really need to be more aware of the signs of domestic violence, even when everything seems "perfect" on the outside. It makes you wonder how many more people out there are hiding similar struggles. My heart goes out to Kristy’s family and friends; I can't imagine the pain they’re going through right now. Let's hope this tragic case brings more awareness to domestic violence and the urgent need for more robust support and intervention systems.
