Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Mohammed Seid, and something that's been on my mind is the impact of these repeated violent incidents on the community. It's just devastating to think about how many families are suffering from such senseless loss. I recently read that there were 246 homicides in Baltimore by the time he was killed. How are people coping with living in a community where violence feels so pervasive? It's not just about the loss of Mohammed and others like Keith Bell and Kenyon Yerby, but also about the fear and uncertainty left behind. Does anyone know if there are programs or community initiatives helping residents deal with the trauma of these events? I feel like reducing the violence is one thing, but there also needs to be support for those left picking up the pieces. Hoping for justice and peace for all those affected.
