In the northeastern part of Baltimore on a Saturday night, the life of 33-year-old Mohammed Seid, a Black male, was tragically cut short. On the evening of September 10, 2022, gunshots rang out in the 4800 block of Moravia Road. When police officers arrived at the scene around 8:41 p.m., they found Mr. Seid suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
Emergency medical services were promptly dispatched, and Mr. Seid was rushed to Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center for treatment.
Despite the efforts of the medical staff, his injuries proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead at the hospital. The incident was ruled a homicide, adding to the city's growing count of violent deaths for the year.
