I’ve been thinking about how sensitive and difficult this case must have been for the emergency responders. Imagine those poor flight medics who were just trying to grab a meal after a long shift and ended up thrust into such a horrific situation. It's harrowing to think that just moments after selflessly rushing to help, they were under attack. Being first on the scene only to face such violence is unimaginable. It’s terrifying and reminds us how unpredictable and dangerous situations can be, even when you're there to help. My heart goes out to all the families affected by this tragedy, including PFC LaPage's loved ones. They carry the weight of this loss, and my thoughts are with them as they navigate this profound sorrow.
