I often think about Chris Sherbert's role at Superbike Motorsports and how passionate he was about his work. Friends have described him as someone who could fix anything with an engine. It's incredibly sad to know that he was doing what he loved when his life was brutally cut short. Chris was just 26, with so much ahead of him. Imagine all the bikes he could have transformed and all the lives he might have touched with his skill and kindness. His family and friends must still carry such heavy grief, and it’s tough to comprehend the senselessness of it all. In light of Kohlhepp’s arrest, I hope they find a little solace in having some answers, but the hole left in their lives is immeasurable. My heart goes out to them as they navigate through the long shadows of this tragedy.
