I’ve been following the Rodney Dinwiddie and Rodney Frye case for a while now, and I can’t stop thinking about the impact on their families. Seeing how loved Rodney Dinwiddie was in Gary, Indiana makes his loss even more difficult to understand. From what folks say, he had such a vibrant personality that left a mark on everyone he met. I can only imagine the pain his family and friends are still going through, especially without any answers years later. It’s just tragic how these senseless acts seem to ripple through entire communities. Louisville’s worrying rise in violent crime during 2015 makes me wonder if there were overlooked patterns or missed opportunities to prevent this. Hoping for some closure and justice for all who cared for Rodney and Rodney.
