Have any of y'all looked into the community around Mt. Horr AME Cemetery? I know sometimes these smaller, close-knit communities might have insights or whispers about what really happened. It's entirely possible that locals might remember something unusual around the time Cameron David Smith Sr. passed away, even if nothing's been officially documented. It's just so hard to grasp how little information is out there. The family's silence could mean they're still dealing with the loss privately or they've been advised not to speak about it. Either way, the uncertainty must weigh heavily on them. Has anyone tried reaching out to community members or local businesses that were around in 2012? Sometimes these unsolved cases need a bit of grassroots digging to surface new leads. My heart really goes out to Cameron's family. I can't imagine the frustration of not having answers for so long.
