I've been following the Athell Johnson case pretty closely, and one aspect that's been on my mind is the bravery of the young woman who survived. It's astonishing to think about what she endured, yet she somehow managed to lead authorities to Athell and Jamall. Her courage amid such a terrifying ordeal is incredible. I can't imagine the strength it took to do that, and I'm grateful she was able to help in such a crucial way. It's also gut-wrenching to consider the trauma she'll have to work through. I hope she's getting the support she needs to heal both physically and emotionally. This case reminds us not only of the troubles in our society but also of the strength and resilience some individuals display in the face of unimaginable horrors. I hope justice is served for Athell, Jamall, and the brave young woman who survived.
