I recently came across the tragic case of Travis Smith, and something that's been lingering in my mind is the woman who was with him just before the shooting. From what has been reported, she lived in the apartment and ran inside when the three men approached. I can't imagine how terrifying that situation must have been for her, and I wonder what insight she might have about what happened. Has anyone heard if the police were able to get a detailed statement from her? It must be incredibly distressing for her to relive those moments, but if there's any chance she holds a piece of the puzzle that could lead to identifying those men, it might be crucial. Keeping Travis's family in my thoughts as they continue this long and painful journey for justice.
