I was reading about Alton Reaves, and I can’t help but feel for his family during this difficult time. It’s tough to comprehend the pain they must be going through. The fact that the officer involved’s name hasn’t been released, and there seems to be so little clarity about the whole situation, must be incredibly frustrating for them. I understand the need for a thorough investigation to ensure proper procedures in situations like these, but it's taking a toll on the community and on those who loved Alton. They deserve answers and some form of closure. How the system handles these cases plays a huge part in maintaining public trust in law enforcement. I really hope that SLED's investigation sheds light on what truly happened that night.
