Wow, this case really struck a nerve with me. I've been following it closely since it happened, and something about it just doesn't sit right. I keep thinking about those two nieces Tammy was trying to adopt. Imagine being so young and already experiencing such trauma, only to have your world completely upended overnight. Even though Darryl Flowers was apprehended and justice was served, I can't help but feel for those girls. What kind of long-term support are they receiving now? Losing someone who's essentially stepping in to be your mom is devastating. I hope they're surrounded by family and professionals who can help them heal and find some semblance of peace. Sending all my thoughts their way.

Does anyone else find it particularly chilling how Darryl Flowers managed to stay under the radar for so long even after such a horrific act? It's unsettling to think he was capable of causing so much harm and still evaded capture until he crossed state lines. I can't even begin to imagine the fear that Tammy's family and the community felt during the manhunt. It must have been such a relief when they finally caught him, but the scars from those days must still run deep. I'm hoping that Tammy's family and especially her nieces, who were so deeply affected, have found some support and healing through all of this. This case is such a stark reminder of the importance of recognizing and acting on warning signs of domestic violence. Has anyone heard any updates on how her nieces are doing these days? I truly hope they’re surrounded by love and support.

I've been thinking a lot about the brave nieces of Tammy Flowers and the horrific ordeal they endured that fateful day. It's just so upsetting to think about how they were, in the process of being adopted by Tammy, thrust into such a nightmare. They must have viewed her not only as an aunt but also as a new mother figure. I can't imagine the trauma they suffered and continue to deal with, both physically and emotionally. The community can only hope they’ve received the support and counseling needed to rebuild their lives. If anyone has updates on how they're doing now, that would be great to hear. Wishing them nothing but healing and peace. ?
