Just stumbled across this case, and it's just so difficult to wrap my head around the sheer tragedy of it all. Poor little Hayden Mayes was only 2 years old, and the fact that his life ended in such a horrific way is absolutely unimaginable. As the community comes to terms with this senseless act, I'm curious about how involved the local community has been in supporting the investigation and Hayden's family. Often, in cases like these, community support plays a crucial role not just in the investigation but also in helping a family find some semblance of solace amidst their grief. Has anyone heard if there have been any vigils or community-led initiatives since the arrest? My heart goes out to his family and everyone in Denmark, SC, who has been affected by this tragedy.
