Has anyone else been thinking about the role Angie's work environment might have played in this tragedy? I mean, it's heart-wrenching just trying to imagine what her colleagues must have gone through, not to mention how much they’ve lost in Angie. From what I’ve read, it seems her workplace was one of the last places anyone would have expected something like this to happen.
Given that Angie was so well-regarded at the Chester Metropolitan District, I’m curious if there were any signs, even in hindsight, that could have hinted at her estranged husband, Donald, showing up there with harmful intentions. It's terrifying to think about, really. This grim event must have sent ripples through her coworkers' lives, and it’s awful to think of the fear it might have instilled in a place that was part of her daily routine.
For those who were with her at work around that time, it must be incredibly painful. I hope they’ve all found some support to navigate the aftermath of what happened. It's so important that workplaces have resources and plans to protect and support their employees, especially in light of domestic issues that might spill over into work environments. My thoughts are with Angie's family and her work family during what must be an indescribably difficult time.
Hey everyone,
I’ve been thinking a lot about Angie’s connection to the community and how deeply she touched everyone with her kindness. I read that she was really passionate about her job at the Chester Metropolitan District and was always trying to help others. It must have been incredibly difficult for her colleagues to deal with the loss and especially in such a sudden and violent way.
What stands out is how her coworkers described her energy and enthusiasm—Angie was not just a coworker but a friend to many. It’s hard to fathom how they must be coping with returning to the workplace every day after what happened. I imagine they're constantly reminded of her absence.
Does anyone know if there have been any gatherings or memorials at her workplace to honor her memory? It might be a small comfort to have a space or moment dedicated to reflecting on the good times they shared with her.
Sending love and strength to her family, friends, and colleagues in this difficult time.
