I've been thinking a lot about how the police finally captured Bradford Hester Williams after he managed to cut off his ankle monitor and took off to Georgia. It must have been terrifying for the families of Sylvester Fuller and Jamal Justice during that time, knowing their loved ones' killer was on the run. I can't imagine living through that uncertainty, not knowing if he would be caught or if justice would ever be served. I'm grateful for the officers who worked tirelessly to bring him back to face trial. It was such an important step in making sure that Fuller and Justice's families could finally find some peace and start to heal. It's important to remember that while justice was served, it doesn't erase the loss for everyone who loved and cared about these two young men. My heart goes out to them as they continue to navigate life without Sylvester and Jamal.
