I came across this case recently and have been thinking a lot about Althea Goss. She seemed like a beautifully caring person, and it’s so overwhelming to reflect on how quickly life can change. From what I’ve gathered, there seems to have been some tension surrounding the people involved. It’s incredibly sad that the warning signs didn't lead to intervention before it was too late. It breaks my heart to think of Althea's family getting that call and learning that she wouldn't be coming home. I imagine the pain they must feel, knowing that a seemingly small dispute could spiral so horrifically. This community lost three lives that day, and each had its own story and connections that were cruelly severed. Does anyone here know more about Althea, or can share how the local community is remembering her and the others? It just seems important to keep her story alive in a thoughtful way. My thoughts are with her family and loved ones dealing with their loss.

Has anyone else been following the details about the robot the SWAT team used to enter the house on Richard McCloud Lane during the tragic event involving Althea Goss and the others? I can't even imagine the tension and urgency as they tried to figure out what was happening inside. Using technology like that to assess the situation must be incredibly challenging and complex, but surely invaluable in safely determining what was going on without risking further injury to those responding. I keep thinking about the families of Althea, Kennitha, and Termaine, trying to process the loss and deal with so many unanswered questions. It's so hard to come to terms with such a sudden tragedy. Sending strength and love to everyone affected.
