It’s so incredibly sad to think about what Dwayne Jerry Farmer’s family has been through. I can't even begin to imagine the pain and confusion they must have felt as this case unfolded. I've been following the details of this case and it's astounding how much modern technology played a role in securing a conviction. The use of cellphone data and DNA evidence really seemed pivotal. It's a testament to how far forensic science has come, but at the same time, it’s a sobering reminder that such horrific acts of violence can still occur. My heart goes out to Dwayne’s loved ones as they continue to cope with this irreplaceable loss.
