Hey everyone, I've been delving into the case of James Westley Sumpter Jr. and something's been on my mind. It's curious how there's very little information about any potential investigation or legal proceedings following his untimely death. In other cases I've followed, even a small lead usually generates some sort of public record or news brief. Yet here, it's almost radio silence. I can't help but wonder about the role of the community and local law enforcement. Did they simply lack the resources, or was there genuinely nothing to go on? If there are members in this forum from the Columbia, SC area who might recall anything from around 2015, it would be interesting to hear if there was any local buzz about James's passing at the time.
