I've been diving into the Facio-Ledesma case, and I can't stop thinking about the location where it all happened. Leslie’s Hair Salon was such a central spot in Newberry, and it must have been deeply unsettling for the community to have something so awful take place there. I think about everyone who worked at the salon or had appointments there that day—they could have witnessed something terrible or even become victims themselves. It must have been terrifying for them, knowing they'd been so close to danger. Salons are usually places of relaxation, community, and trust; it just adds another layer of tragedy to know that this sanctuary was shattered by such violence. My thoughts are with Roberto's family and everyone in Newberry affected by this crime. It just goes to show how a single act can send ripples through a community. Anyone have more insights on how the community has coped since this happened?

Has anyone else read about the memorial that Roberto Facio-Ledesma's family set up outside Leslie’s Hair Salon? I saw some pictures online, and it really touched me to see how the community came together to honor him. There were flowers, candles, and even a few handwritten notes from friends and family. It must be incredibly difficult for them, losing someone so suddenly and in such a horrific way. I hope they feel the support around them as they navigate this terrible time. If there’s any update on how the family is doing or any community support events planned, I’d love to know so I can help spread the word. Blessings to all who knew and loved Roberto.

I've been thinking a lot about Leslie’s Hair Salon and how it must feel for the people who worked there or visited regularly. It's so sad to think about the staff and clients who have to walk by that back room every day, knowing the horror of what happened there. The salon used to be a place of community and connection, and I can only imagine how shattered people must feel thinking about Roberto's last moments. I hope the community finds a way to remember Roberto's life and not just the tragedy, maybe through some kind of commemorative event or memorial. Does anyone know if the salon or local groups have organized any tributes or memorials? Keeping Roberto’s family, friends, and the Newberry community in my thoughts.
