I've been following Shaheedah Wright's case for years, and something that always puzzles me is the location she was last seen. Frelinghuysen Avenue and Meeker Street is usually busy, even at night. It's hard to believe that no one saw anything or remembered seeing Shaheedah. Has anyone else thought about why there haven't been more eyewitnesses?
Also, I'm curious if law enforcement ever did a thorough search of the area, like checking nearby businesses for surveillance footage or talking to residents and shop owners about that night. I feel like this could've been a key step in uncovering new leads. Does anyone know if there was any kind of search or canvassing around those streets? I just can't help but feel that something critical might've been missed in those early hours and days after Shaheedah vanished.
Has anyone else looked into the background of events happening around Newark during the time Shaheedah Wright went missing? I found it odd that there wasn’t much mention of any other incidents or disruptions in that area around August 9, 2013. You’d think if something shady was going on, there would be some chatter or reports of odd activity from that night.
Maybe it’s a stretch, but sometimes connecting the dots of seemingly unrelated events or noticing patterns in other cases can help? Newark can be a busy place, especially in summer, so maybe someone saw something but just didn’t make the connection to her disappearance. What about other disappearances or crimes in the area from around that time? Could there be any link?
I feel for Shaheedah's family and hope they get some answers soon. Just thinking of other angles to explore. Would love to hear if anyone else has ideas or related info.
