Does anyone else find it haunting that Jeryl Lamar White tried to find safety in his own home, only to have his life tragically cut short? I've always believed there's a certain sanctity to one's home—a place where you should feel the safest. The notion that this space was violently invaded shakes me deeply. My heart goes out to his family, especially his mother, Sylvia, who must carry the weight of this unimaginable loss. I'm relieved to hear that the legal system provided some justice, but I can't help but reflect on how events like this leave lasting scars on those left behind. Let’s continue to honor Jeryl's memory and support those who have ironically been robbed of peace in their own homes. Thoughts and support to everyone affected. ?
