I've been thinking a lot about the role of community involvement in cases like Levi Happy's. It's deeply saddening how often these tragedies occur, and it feels like the community could potentially play a significant role in bringing about justice. From what I’ve read, the Columbia Police Department really struggled with the lack of solid witness testimonies in Levi's case. It seems part of the problem is that some people are afraid or unwilling to come forward, which can really stall an investigation. I'm wondering if there have been any successful initiatives anywhere that focus on building trust between local communities and law enforcement to improve cooperation in solving crimes? Could those potentially be adapted for places like Columbia where trust might be lacking? I believe that fostering better relationships could lead to more people having the courage to share what they know. Levi and his family deserve answers and justice, and it breaks my heart that this case, like many others, is still unsolved. Any ideas or thoughts?
