It's so disturbing to think about how Steven’s life was brutally taken from him right in his own home. What really hits me is the role Jason Gambrell played in this whole tragedy. How does someone's mind work to plan something so horrific, involving others, knowing that it could end this way? It's chilling to think that those people were seemingly just going about their day, maybe not knowing in full what was about to unfold, but complicit nonetheless. I wonder what kind of influence Gambrell had over Carver and Curry to drag them into this nightmare. Sending love to Steven’s family who are left to grapple with this awful reality. I hope people like Gambrell fully understand the massive ripple effect their decisions have on countless lives.
Has anyone else been following the case of Steven Bassam Cameron in Greenville? I keep thinking about how his neighbors must be feeling right now, especially the person who found him. I can't imagine the shock and trauma of discovering something like that right outside your door. It must be incredibly unnerving to feel like your street, your home, is no longer safe. I really hope the community comes together to support each other and Cameron's family during this incredibly difficult time. It's reassuring to see that the police acted quickly and have made arrests, but I wonder what motivated these people to carry out such a heinous crime. Can't get my head around how someone's life can be taken so senselessly.
