Has anyone else thought about the 401(k) cash-out angle in James Richard Larabee's disappearance? Why would someone liquidate their retirement savings before attending a high school reunion? That's a pretty significant move, especially for someone in their early 50s. I wonder if he was planning something big or drastic, which could explain why he seemingly vanished without a trace.
And what about the fact that he mentioned heading to northwest Oklahoma in his last text? Could this be linked to the financial decision, or was it just a guise for something else? The timeline is puzzling, especially since his vehicle ends up being sold in Georgia two years later. It's hard not to speculate that cashing out could have funded his disappearance, but it's also frustrating because there are so many unknowns.
Anyone have any thoughts or theories on what James might have been up to before he vanished?
