I was thinking about how difficult it must be for J.C. Mims' family and friends, still waiting for answers after all this time. It's frustrating when there's such a lack of information about the suspect, given that there were witnesses who heard the gunshots. I can't imagine the pain of not only losing a loved one in such a violent way but also having to live with the uncertainty of not knowing who did it or why. It's good that the Aiken County Sheriff's Office and North Augusta Public Safety are working together on this, but it really highlights how crucial community help is in solving these kinds of cases. If anyone out there knows something, no matter how small it might seem, I hope they'll come forward. Keeping J.C. and his family in my thoughts.
