It's been over seven years, and I'm just left wondering why more hasn't been done to catch this guy who took Leuman's life. One aspect that still bothers me is the description of the suspect. A tall, slender man in light-colored cargo shorts and a white tank top—surely, someone must know something about him? Rebecca Street isn't exactly deserted, especially at that time of night. It's frustrating to think there might be people out there who saw something but haven't come forward.
I feel for Leuman's family, knowing the pain they must carry daily without answers or justice. North Charleston is a community, and someone in our community must know more. If there's even a small piece of info that could help, I hope those holding onto it find the courage to speak up. Leuman deserves justice, and his family deserves peace. Let's keep talking about this case and not let it fall into obscurity.
I've been following the case of Leuman Lopez Herrera, and my heart goes out to his family and friends. It's beyond tragic to see someone’s life cut short in such a senseless way. I was thinking about the location—Rebecca Street at that late hour. I lived nearby for a while, and it's generally a quiet neighborhood, but I know things can change after dark.
I’m curious if anyone knows more about the area around the 2200 block. Were there any security cameras or local businesses that might have had CCTV footage? Even a doorbell camera could catch a crucial detail. Sometimes small pieces of information help paint a bigger picture, and it's those details that might lead to catching the suspect.
I'm really hoping the community can rally together, share what they know, and help the police with any leads. Sending all my thoughts to those affected by this tragedy, and here's to hoping for some justice—for Leuman and for everyone who loved him.
