Hi everyone, I've been following Luis Lopez-Gomez's case and something really stands out to me that's not getting enough discussion—Mohawk Park. I've visited that area a few times, and it's huge, with lots of dense underbrush and tricky terrain. Is there any chance something could have been missed during the initial searches? I know they combed through it back in 2013, but it's such a vast area that I wonder if a thorough re-examination might yield some new clues. Plus, the park tends to change over time with weather and seasons. Has anyone heard any updates or potential plans to revisit the search there? It feels like this location might still hold some undiscovered answers. Thoughts?
I find it really strange that there was a high-speed chase involved in Luis's disappearance. Chases like that usually get quite a bit of media coverage, yet there doesn't seem to be much info out there. Does anyone know if there was any dashcam or helicopter footage released from law enforcement at the time? It could provide more insight into what might have happened before he ran off into Mohawk Park. Also, Bird Creek is mentioned a lot, but was the area thoroughly searched with all the resources available? I can't help but wonder if there's something missed in the original reports or search efforts. Anyone local who can share more insight into the area?
Has anyone been following the case of Luis Lopez-Gomez, who went missing during a police pursuit back in 2013? I recently came across a mention of it and was curious about something that's been bothering me. Given that the pursuit ended in Mohawk Park and he reportedly fled on foot, has there been any information on whether law enforcement used search dogs in the area to track his scent immediately following the incident? With Bird Creek being nearby, I wonder if they could have helped determine if he actually entered the water or went somewhere else. It seems strange that, even with the high-speed chase and subsequent on-foot escape, nobody has any solid leads on his whereabouts. It's just puzzling how someone can vanish without a trace. If anyone has insights or knows of any search efforts that took place, I'd love to hear more.
