I've been following the case of Darrius Lamont Robinson, and something that really strikes me about this tragic situation is the presence of a young child during the entire ordeal. I can’t imagine the trauma that poor girl went through, witnessing something so terrifying at just four years old. It's incidents like these that highlight the ripple effects of violent crimes, extending far beyond the immediate victim. I'm hoping the community is extending a supportive hand to this child and Robinson's girlfriend, who must be dealing with unimaginable pain and fear as they move forward. Sending thoughts to everyone affected, and aching for justice to bring some sense of peace to Darrius’s loved ones.
