Hi everyone, I've been following the Lee Trowell case since it happened, and it's gut-wrenching to think that it's been so long without justice for him and his loved ones. I recently started looking into the area where the crime took place, 3138 Vermont Avenue. I wonder if the environment around there in 2017—like maybe abandoned buildings or lack of street lights—may have played a part in it being unsolved. Does anyone familiar with Louisville have any insights on whether that area has changed since then? Could those physical surroundings have affected the ability for folks in the neighborhood to come forward with information more openly? Sharing any local perspectives could be vital in building a clearer picture and possibly nudging someone's memory about the night Lee died. Thanks to everyone invested in keeping this case from fading into a cold statistic. His family deserves closure. Take care, [Username]

Does anyone have any more details on the neighborhood where Lee Trowell was found? I keep reading about the location, 3138 Vermont Avenue, but I don't know how safe or dangerous that area is. Was it known for incidents like this, or was this crime out of the ordinary? It's so unsettling to think this could happen anywhere, but understanding the context of the area might shed some light on the situation. I really feel for Trowell's family and hope they get the answers they deserve soon. Any insights or local knowledge would be appreciated!
