I’ve been following the case of Mickey Short’s murder and something that stands out to me is how crucial the phone records were in unraveling what happened. It's chilling to think about how this ordinary piece of technology, something we all use every day, played such a significant role in uncovering the truth. Without it, who knows how long it would have taken to piece together the meeting in the soybean field? When I think about Mickey's daughters and how they must feel seeing their father’s last moments being tracked and used to bring justice, it sort of gives a bittersweet sense of relief. I really hope this helps them find some peace, knowing that the investigation was thorough and led to quick arrests. Sending strength and support to Mickey’s family during this tough time.
