Hey everyone, I can't stop thinking about how active Savannah Walker was in her community, especially with her passion for activism and lacrosse. It seems like she was always striving to make a positive impact, whether on campus or out in the larger world. It's such a stark contrast to the senseless violence that took her life. It just shows how completely unexpected and unfairly cruel this world can be sometimes. I find myself wondering what kind of change she could have inspired if she'd had more time. It's infuriating that, despite so many people being there, we still have no answers. I really hope someone comes forward with information soon. Her family and friends deserve resolution and to see the person responsible held accountable.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following Savannah Walker’s case since it happened, and lately, I’ve been thinking a lot about the role community spaces like the Tim Faulkner Art Gallery play in our lives. It’s so disturbing that such a vibrant, creative environment could become the backdrop for something so tragic. It makes me wonder about the security measures in place at venues and how they can be improved to ensure safety without compromising the atmosphere that makes them special. The fact that there were so many witnesses, yet the case remains unsolved, is truly unsettling. I can’t imagine the frustration her family must be feeling, hoping for someone to come forward with information. I really hope sharing Savannah’s story more widely will lead someone to speak up. Sending love and strength to all of Savannah’s loved ones. Hoping every day that justice is served and that spaces meant for joy and community can remain safe for everyone. Has anyone else found other similar cases where it took a long time for witnesses to come forward? Just trying to hold onto hope. ?
