Has anyone else been following the tragic case of Willie Lee Duggans from North Charleston? I was reading about it recently, and it’s just so sad to see such a young life lost. I can’t imagine what his family and friends are going through. I was particularly struck by the mention of the Chicora-Cherokee neighborhood where the shooting happened. Does anyone know if this area has had issues with violence before, or was this a shock to the community? It seems like the police have been trying to tackle the violence in the area, but it’s disheartening to hear that it was the 32nd murder that year. My heart goes out to everyone affected. Let's hope they find justice for Willie soon.
