Hey everyone, I've been thinking about the impact this tragedy has had on Justin Penland’s family and the Rock Hill community. It’s just unbearably sad to know that such senseless violence led to a loving father and son losing his life. When I read about his dedication to his family, particularly his fiancée and two daughters, it really hits home how much they have lost. It's important for us to remember that real people, with hopes and dreams, are affected by these crimes. Justin worked at Lexington Medical, and I imagine his coworkers and friends are missing his presence greatly. I can't stop wondering how his daughters will grow up without their dad. It’s just so unfair. I really hope that through the legal outcomes and ongoing discussions, there can be greater awareness and action to reduce such violence. Families should not have to endure this kind of pain due to the dreadful outcomes from illegal activities.
