This case truly underscores how domestic violence impacts not just the immediate victims but entire families and communities. For those affected, including the first responders who have to carry the weight of what they witness, my heart goes out to you. It's essential that we continue to push for more resources and training to handle these situations better, so hopefully, we can prevent them from happening in the first place.
