Hey everyone, I've been following Joel Turner's case closely and can't stop thinking about how this senseless act of violence has left such a huge void in the community. I recently read about Joel's involvement with his church, Mt. Zion A.M.E, and it’s clear he was a cornerstone there. It's heartbreaking to think about his absence every Sunday, where others used to find solace and camaraderie along with him. His passion for spending time with his family and love for football were mentioned often by the folks who knew him. It really paints a picture of a life filled with love and happiness that was tragically cut short. ? The community seems strong and united, but I can't imagine the depth of their grief right now. Just hoping they find some comfort in the memories of his warm-hearted nature and the good times they shared. It’s truly a reminder of how precious life is. Please reach out if you’re part of the community and need support or just want to talk. Let's keep each other in our thoughts during this tough time.

I’ve been thinking a lot about how Joel Turner Jr. was such a pivotal part of the Mt. Zion A.M.E Church community. By all accounts, he was someone who truly valued his time with family and friends, whether it was fishing or watching a football game together. As someone who attended the same church for a period of time in my life, I can attest to how tightly knit these communities can become and how deeply they feel such a tragedy. It’s so hard to wrap my head around how the events at Sapp’s Bar and Grill escalated into such a devastating loss. It seems like an unimaginable shift from a regular night out to a situation with irreversible consequences. My heart goes out to Ardreika, the children, and everyone else who loved him deeply. Anyone else from the community here? How is everyone coping?
