I've been following the case of James K. Copeland III, and something that stood out to me is how communities often rally around families after such senseless tragedies. It’s incredible—and necessary—how strangers can come together in moments like these to offer support, whether it’s through vigils, donations, or just being there to listen. The loss must be unimaginable for his loved ones, especially happening right around the holidays. I hope that the community in Columbia can provide some sense of comfort and that justice can offer at least a sliver of peace.
