Was reading about Dernell Hunt's case again today, and it really hits home how much a community comes together during tragedy. From what I understand, the intersection of Southern Avenue and Hemlock Street isn’t just any random spot—it's a place surrounded by families, folks who've probably crossed paths with Dernell and knew him as more than just a victim. People in the area need to feel safe again, and it's heart-wrenching that this neighborhood is still seeking answers. It's been years, and though time has gone by, surely someone remembers something. If you were around back then or heard something through the grapevine, please think about reaching out to share any info, no matter how minor it might seem. Supporting Dernell's family and ensuring justice is exactly the kind of thing this tight-knit community stands for.
