Does anyone else find it incredibly eerie that Mitchel Smith was killed so soon after his release from jail? I can't stop thinking about how surreal it must have been for his family and friends to learn that, after he was finally out of jail, he didn't even get a chance to take a breath of freedom before his life was cut short. I wonder if there were any signs that something like this might happen or if it was just a complete shock to everyone. Knowing that a place like Mendell Plaza, which many use for community gatherings, became a crime scene that morning is chilling. Does anyone know more about Michael Peace's connection to Smith? It makes you wonder what led to that moment and why the justice process is dragging on for so long. I just hope Mitchel's family can get some clarity and peace as things move forward.
