It’s been almost six years since the tragic event on Shirewick Way, and I find myself reflecting on the devastating loss of life, particularly for Omar Alejandro Rebozo-Hibirma and Carlos Turrelles Arias. I can't help but wonder about the surviving victim and how they're coping, knowing they carry the heavy burden of being the only survivor from that dreadful night. The emotional and mental scars must be overwhelming. It's concerning to see there haven't been any major updates or suspects identified by the Louisville Metro Police Department. With a thriving community like ours, there’s hope that someone might have seen something or knows something that could help break this case wide open. Hoping that more awareness and increased community concern might inspire those who hold crucial information to step forward. My heart goes out to the families and friends left to mourn and search for answers. Let’s keep this conversation alive to honor Omar and Carlos, making sure their stories don’t go silent and that those responsible are brought to justice.
