Hi everyone, I've been following the Bautista case and something that really sticks with me is the neighborhood's reaction. It's clear Luis was a well-loved member of the community, and I've read several accounts of neighbors rallying around his family after his tragic death. They organized vigils and community meetings to support one another and discuss ways to make their area safer. It's heartening to see such solidarity, but it also makes me wonder how the community is doing now, years later. Has anyone heard from those close to him or know if new community safety measures were implemented as a result of this tragedy? I hope they find some peace and continue to watch out for one another.
