I came across a chilling aspect of the Karma Young case that I can't stop thinking about. Has anyone else heard about the strange connection between Karma and the suspect, Jose Guzman-Rosario? I read that while they weren't personally acquainted, they attended the same local gym. It's unnerving to think about how our paths might unknowingly cross with dangerous individuals. It makes me wonder about any signs that might've been missed or things people could do to stay safer. I'd love to hear thoughts on how communities can address these "stranger danger" situations where there’s no apparent prior relationship. Karma seemed like such a loving person, it's so sad that she was taken from her family and community in such a senseless way. Thoughts and prayers to her loved ones.

Did anyone else see Vega, Karma's dog, in the aftermath of the incident? I've been thinking about how traumatized animals can be after something like this, especially since Vega was likely right there when it all happened. It just breaks my heart thinking about it. I remember reading about another case where a dog refused to leave their owner's side after a tragedy. I hope Vega is now receiving the love and care Karma would have wanted.
