I find it incredibly upsetting that such a well-loved member of the Eastover community like David Junior Bolton could be taken from us in such a violent way, and that there’s still no resolution all these years later. I was reading about how he was last seen at the May Fest event enjoying the music — can you imagine your last moments of joy being followed by something so horrific? It truly makes me anxious about the state of safety in our communities.
I'm really hoping that someone who attended May Fest recalls seeing something suspicious that day, or maybe someone overheard something in the days that followed. Every little detail could be crucial, no matter how minor it might seem. It's such a heavy thought that a person who brought kindness and warmth to those around him could just vanish from our lives without any clear answers. I sincerely wish for peace and justice for Mr. Bolton’s family and friends.
