I've been following the case of Udeh Joshua Prince Osuagwu, and while the entire situation is just overwhelming, something that stands out to me is the involvement of such young people in this crime. It's deeply unsettling to think that those charged, some barely out of their teen years, would throw away their futures in a moment driven by greed. I've seen discussions around the dangers posed by social media, but maybe there needs to be more emphasis on mentoring and guiding younger folks who may not realize the gravity of associating with violence or crime. It's such a painful chapter not only for Osuagwu's family but also for those close to the suspects, who now face the aftermath of decisions made in a moment of recklessness. My heart goes out to everyone affected, and I hope the community can come together to support one another during this time.
