Has anyone else looked into the background of Taylor Ryan Strode? I was digging around and noticed he had that previous arrest in 2010, which got me wondering about his youth and what might've led him down this path. It's unsettling to think that a suspended sentence and probation under the Youthful Offenders Act didn't help him change his course. I can't imagine what the family of Charles Lawrence must be going through, knowing that this person with a history of legal issues was involved in his murder. This really brings up the question of how effective our system is at rehabilitating young offenders. Do you think there's more that could've been done earlier on? Maybe some intervention programs might have made a difference. It's just so hard to wrap my head around how these tragedies can be prevented in the future. Thoughts?
