Has anyone been following the Travis Warren Stevenson case from Darlington County? It’s such a chilling story. I just can't wrap my head around why anyone would target someone like Stevenson, who was known for being helpful and kind. He seemed like a decent guy who lived a quiet life, taking care of his mom and helping out neighbors with odd jobs. It's also worrying to hear that violence like this isn't common in the area but has happened twice in the past six months. Is there something bigger going on here? I wonder if the other incident is connected in any way. My heart goes out to his family and friends. It must be incredibly unsettling to know that the person responsible is still out there. Does anyone have thoughts on how the community can rally for more attention on solving this?

Hi everyone, I'm new here but have been following the Travis Stevenson case closely. It breaks my heart to think about what Travis's family and friends must be going through right now. It's clear he was an adored figure in the community, always helping others and caring for his mom. It's so baffling to see such violence strike a man who seemed so selfless and kind. I've been wondering about the SLED involvement in this case. It seems they were quick to help with forensic support, but with no arrests or suspects, I'm really curious about what kind of evidence they might have found at the scene. Does anyone know how long processing such a scene can typically take, and what kind of hurdles they might be facing? It feels like with the level of violence increasing in that area, these cases are becoming too frequent for comfort. I hope answers come soon because the uncertainty must be so difficult for those close to Travis. Keeping them all in my thoughts.
