Hey everyone,
I've been following the case of JQuan Brown, and I recently came across something that got me thinking. Apparently, there was a community vigil held for him shortly after the incident. It seemed like it was a significant gathering, not just for paying respects, but also for spotlighting the broader issue of gun violence in North Charleston. It was heartening to see so many people come together, sharing stories and memories of JQuan, and pushing for change.
I'm curious, were any of you there or perhaps know someone who attended? Sometimes these vigils can be pivotal in starting a conversation or even prompting someone to speak up about what they know. My thoughts are with JQuan’s family and friends. It's so important for us to keep these discussions alive and support our communities in any way we can. ?
Stay safe out there, everyone.
Hey everyone,
I've been following JQuan Brown's case, and something that keeps bugging me is the lack of surveillance footage or eyewitness accounts mentioned in the reports. North Charleston is a bustling area, and it's hard to believe that no one saw anything or that there weren't any cameras that could have caught something useful. I wonder if the local businesses or nearby establishments have been thoroughly checked for any potential video evidence.
It's so frustrating and I can't imagine what his family and friends are going through, knowing that this critical piece might just be out there. Sometimes, it feels like a small detail could break open the whole case. Community support and awareness might help more people come forward with anything they might have seen or heard back then. Brown's family deserves answers and closure. Let’s hope that someone, somewhere, knows something that can finally help bring justice.
Thoughts or suggestions on how communities can better ensure public spaces have adequate surveillance or support for police investigations?
