It's been over five years since Martez was taken from this world, and it still chills me to think of what his family, especially his mother, went through that night. Reading about how he died in her arms is something I can't even begin to imagine. What stands out to me is how he was genuinely trying to turn things around for himself. Being a high school student is tough enough without facing challenges he might have been dealing with. It's absolutely baffling that there's been no progress with the investigation. I understand these things take time, but surely someone out there knows something. It's like the community has hit a wall. Remember, silence only protects the wrongdoers. If anyone reading this has even a hint of knowledge, please consider the pain his family endures every day without answers.
