I’ve been following Domingo Bernal-de-Leon’s case for a while and something I keep coming back to is the role of community efforts in these investigations. It seems like without the public’s help, these cases often hit a dead end. Miami is such a big city with so many people coming and going; someone must have seen something on that day back in October 2016. It makes me think about the power of social media and local events to keep missing persons cases in the public eye. It's disheartening that even with active investigations, families like Domingo's are still left without answers for this long. If you're in the Miami area or know anyone who might’ve been around his uncle's neighborhood back then, every small bit of information could be invaluable.
