Hey everyone, I've been following Noel Dixon's case and something's been on my mind. I read that he was last seen on Henley Street, but has anyone looked deeper into who he might have been meeting or what he was doing there? It's been years with no solid leads. Henley Street isn't too long, right? Wondering if there might be any shops or regular places he might have gone to where people remember something useful. It's strange to me that Noel wasn't reported missing until almost a month after he disappeared. Makes me think there might be some pieces to this puzzle that we're missing. I know Olean's community has some tight-knit circles—maybe there’s someone who hasn’t come forward yet? Just thought I'd throw it out there in case it sparks any new ideas for discussion. Any locals here who can share their thoughts?
Has anyone looked into Noel Dixon's social connections around the time he disappeared? It seems quite odd that he wasn’t reported missing until nearly a month later. I understand people might not notice someone missing right away, especially if they're used to a certain level of independence, but a month seems like a long delay. Given his distinct Irish accent and relatively small town setting, you’d think someone would have noticed something out of the ordinary sooner. I’ve seen cases where tracking down the last known acquaintances or social contacts can really shed some light, even years later. I’m hoping that anyone who might have interacted with Noel back then, whether casually or as part of his daily routine, can be encouraged to come forward with anything they might remember. Sometimes it's the tiniest detail that can change the course of an investigation.
Has anyone else been struck by the timeline of Noel Dixon's disappearance? He was last seen on October 7, 2016, but his disappearance wasn’t reported until almost a month later, on November 1. I'm curious about what happened during that gap. Was it because of a lack of contact with family, or maybe he wasn't expected to check in regularly? It seems crucial to understanding the initial phase of his disappearance.
Also, considering Noel's distinct Irish accent, you'd think someone might have remembered encountering him around that time. I wonder if any local shops or businesses have surveillance footage that could provide leads. Despite the passage of time, sometimes these things can still help jog someone’s memory. If anyone's from around Olean or knows the area well, maybe there are some places that haven’t been looked at closely enough? We all want his family to find the answers they’re looking for.
