Hey everyone,
I’ve been following Ernest Healy Jr.'s case for a while now, and something that really stands out to me is how deeply connected he was to his family and community. It's hard not to feel the weight of their loss. I read that he worked at Home Run Burgers, and it got me thinking about the little details that bring these stories to life. Imagine walking into that burger joint, and there’s DoDo—always with that huge smile everyone talks about, making you feel welcomed no matter how your day was going. It’s such a vivid image of who he was, and it’s just tragic that such a promising light was extinguished too soon.
I really hope that someone out there has information that could help solve this case. His family deserves answers, and his young son, especially, deserves to grow up knowing that justice was served for his dad. If anyone in the area has heard or seen anything, now’s the time to come forward. Let’s hope there’s some closure for Ernest’s loved ones soon.
Stay safe out there, and hug your loved ones a little tighter tonight.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Ernest "DoDo" Healy Jr.'s case and something keeps nagging at me. Has anyone looked into the community near the intersection of South 23rd Street and West Ormsby Avenue? I know it's often mentioned in stories about the day he was taken from us, but neighborhoods can hold secrets, and sometimes people who don’t even realize they know something can have critical bits of info.
Ernest grew up in a tight-knit community, and I truly believe someone out there might have seen or heard something important that day and maybe doesn’t even realize its significance. It’s clear how loved Ernest was by those around him, and I can’t imagine the pain his family and friends are going through. I just hope that by discussing these little details we can jog someone's memory. If anyone who lived or lives around that area can share anything about what they saw back in April 2019, it could make a huge difference.
My heart goes out to Ernest's family and friends, especially his little boy, E3. Let's keep this thread going in the hope that we find some answers for his loved ones.
Take care, everyone.
Has anyone else been following the case of Ernest Healy Jr.? It's so moving to learn about the life he was living, especially at such a young age. I was struck while reading about his connection with his son, "E3." It’s difficult to imagine the pain his family must be experiencing, especially since Ernest seemed to find so much joy in being a father. Times like these remind us how senseless violence can ripple through a community, deeply affecting everyone involved.
Iroquois High School seems to remember him warmly, and it must be a huge loss for his classmates and teachers who knew his smile and outgoing nature. I think people can underestimate the strength in communities like Louisville, but they hopefully will rally together to bring justice for Ernest and his family. If anyone here is local, are there any community efforts or vigils planned to support his loved ones? I’d be interested to know how we can spread the word and possibly help in any way.
